Time to allow: 60 minutes
Before: We will assess your skin concerns and discuss your goals to determine if Sofwave™ is right for you.
During: The treatment area is cleaned and ultrasound gel is applied. Most tolerate the treatment well, but we do use an extra cooling device to make the treatment more comfortable.
After: You may experience mild redness or sensitivity immediately after the treatment, but these side effects usually subside before leaving. Daily activities may be resumed immediately after the treatment and there is no need to apply special care to the skin.
Follow Up: Typically, we recommend 1-2 treatments, spaced 3 months apart. The number of sessions may vary depending on the thickness of the skin, the size of the treatment area, and your desired outcome. A yearly treatment is needed to maintain prolonged outcomes.
